Reciprocal Libraries

More libraries = more access!

Seven area libraries have partnered to benefit all our communities to access what we have to offer.  With this reciprocal agreement, the collections from six other library systems are yours to take advantage of both in print material as well as our online databases!

Each library has their own specific guidelines and policies in place regarding the lending of their materials.  Severn Library has opened our entire collection (print materials, DVDs, games, take home kits – snowshoes, games, toys etc. as well as our entire online databases are available for any cross over reciprocal card holders) to reciprocal borrowers (except for the Libby collection)

To become a reciprocal member of another library you must have a current card at your home (Township) library branch in good standing.  We ask that you please bring your library card as well as a piece of identification with your name/home address for us to set up your library card at Severn Library. Once your membership has been confirmed with your home library your new Severn card is good to use.

The participating libraries in the reciprocal agreement are: Clearview Public LibraryEssa Public LibraryPenetanguishine Public LibraryRamara Public LibrarySpringwater Public Library, and Tay Township Public Library.
