Learn more about:
Ontario Parks offers a service for visitors to obtain daily vehicle permits in advance of their visit at select provincial parks. Library patrons who have borrowed a Commercial Day Use Permit to visit Ontario Parks are encouraged to obtain an advance daily vehicle permit, also commonly known as a day use reservation, for all visits to participating parks to guarantee their access.
For a list of participating parks, please visit our day use site.
To use the advanced daily vehicle permit reservation system, library patrons can use the serial number located on the back of the Commercial Day Use Permit to reserve their day use access free of charge in one of two ways at participating parks:
- Online at reservations.ontarioparks.ca
- By phone at 1-888-ONT-PARK (1-888-668-7275) – Open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
When patrons arrive at a park, they will need to bring the permit that they have borrowed from the library and a printed or electronic copy of the confirmation e-mail that indicates that they have secured a reservation at the park on the day of the visit.
You are responsible for returning the pass at the end of the one-week borrowing period. If you lose the pass there is a replacement fee for the pass ($110) and your borrowing privileges will be affected.
